Huge fan of the first one and big fan of Ch 2. I understand it can be difficult to follow, but when you understand it, you want this dude to win. I really wanna see Ch 3 now when it releases!

It's exactly the same as the first, same choreography, equally weak story, if one can call it "a story". Just watch the first one one more time and save feefteen bucks
  • Pales in comparison to the first John Wick movie

Trying very hard to equal or surpass the first movie, but unsuccessful. This movie felt contrived compared to the first. Worth watching if you have some time to kill, but no recommendation beyond that.
  • Truly a phenomenal and amazing movie but..

I kinda liked the first one better. Though that doesn’t take anything away from this one. Loved seeing him work with Laurence fishburne again and seeing him kill with a pencil

Better than the first....! Worth every penny....left me wanting more. Hopefully number three comes out by next summer.

Both John Wick movies have been great. Can't wait till the 3rd one comes out
  • Better than I expected

The first movie was mostly gunfu with cheesy (but somehow likable) villains. This one has more emphasis on hand and knife combat with more realistic and slower paced shootouts. Better production values with a more serious take on the villains. It's not a repeat of the original and just familiar enough to hook you in. It's less of a cult classic formula and more in the direction of a conventional approach to an action film.
