Relieved of her maid of honor duties after being dumped by the best man, Eloise (Anna Kendrick) decides to attend her oldest friend's wedding anyway and finds herself seated among a group of misfit strangers in the back of the ballroom. As secrets are revealed, Eloise bonds with her new tablemates and discovers that friendships—and even romance—can happen under the most unlikely circumstances.

  • Worst Movie I've Ever Seen

This was the worst movie I've watched probably ever. There is no plot and the trailer is SO misleading. The trailer makes you think that Anna Kendrick finds love but then in the movie this love interest appears for like 5 seconds then goes and gets married himself? What? This movie makes absolutely no sense and the acting is terrible and I just waisted 1.5 hours of my life I will never get back I wish it was watching a DECENT movie. NOT THIS ONE

  • Not Perfect but a wonderful film

This movie has it all great perfromance's by the princple cast as well as decent story. Anna Kendrick as Eloise is a perfect fit. As does the supporting cast in their roles. I will warn you it is a tear jerker.

I really want to like this movie. It has a great cast, but it is just not that good.

Table 19 was a pretty good movie. Anna Kendrick and Lisa Kudrow did amazing in the roles. I recommend it.
  • Despite all the negative reviews....

    By Rachyruby
I loved this movie. I thought it was thoughtful, charming, and entertaining. This doesn't have to be movie of the year to be a great movie. The characters were believable and funny, and the plot really makes you feel lighthearted and giddy. There was a deeper meaning that unraveled with the story of each character. Life doesn't always happen the way you believe it will. If you take your head out of your ***hole, you might just enjoy it.
  • Not funny

I liked the beginning. I liked the dance scene between Anna Kendrick and the Huck guy. But everything else was lame. The plot was predictable. And just really bad. The jokes weren't funny at all.

    Good indie movie! Original
  • Poignant and amazing

Whoever made the trailer for this film - and put it in the comedy genre - did it a major disservice. It's not the quirky romantic comedy you might be expecting. It's actually a rather touching story about a random group of people, each with some obstacle, who end up helping each other and forming friendships. It's a really great film, and if you've enjoyed other works from the Duplass brothers you'll love this one too.
