  • Powerful. I can relate.

One of the best movies that I have seen in a long time. Really well done and much deeper than what comes out of Hollywood these days. I enjoyed seeing Chicago too (my old hometown) and a very contemporary message of racial hope and redemption that I pray will take over in that stricken city's south and west sides. On a personal level, this really hits home. As an academic, a college professor, someone awarded high scholastic honors (for what that is worth), and living in the scientific and medical world, I have the same doubts and arguments. In the last 15 years, I have witnessed many brilliant medical minds living and loving patients in the model and inspiration of Jesus Christ. Many Christian and others not. The model of selfless love is there. More than ever, in this hurting and deeply confused world we need simple, unselfish love and understanding. Anyway, well done. Some close friends are atheists and while I am not trying to change their minds, it will provide some good discussion.
  • Amazing!!

This movie is such a beautiful testimony! It was so fun to watch how God moved in even the hardest of hearts. Definitely a must see for people who aren't sure who God is and how much he loves you!
  • Trump voters will love this!

Anyone with a functioning cerebellum will want to steer clear of this inane rot. A sad excuse for a film that clearly targets a level of gullibility assiciated with a single digit IQ. Trump voters step right up - this is for you!
  • Keeping it Real!

Very very impressed with the content and acting. A true life story is not going to have all the added flare of fictional movies. But it's real ... moving ... and will make any objective person think. Well done!!
  • Well done! Not corny like a lot of other Christian movies

Well done! Not corny like a lot of other Christian movies where everything is so predictable and too neatly packaged. I was pleasantly surprised and drawn into the movie from the beginning
  • Very nicely done

I was skeptical that this would be a good movie. But it really was well acted and I'm happy I watched it. The 70s settings were perfect, the lighting great. The story is compelling. After watching this, I felt emotionally moved and decideed to look into purchasing Lee's books.
  • Excellent!

Clearly the one star reviews are being made by those simply wanting to drive the overall rating down. The fact of the matter is that this is a true story, well told. This is not fiction. Lee Stobel has been one of the most articulate voices for the Christan faith for years, and I am delighted at the quality of this production from start to finish. I certainly raises the bar on this genre and give a good path for other Christian film makers to follow!
  • Great acting - great movie

Best acting in a Christian movie that I can recall. I want to read the book to better equip me for conversations with skeptics. While I am a person of faith, it's nice to know that were a skeptic to want proof, it's there. Of course, there's always that leap of faith, but I like how that it is presented both ways: it takes a leap of faith to also not believe, because you can't prove the resurrection didn't happen.

Hated him. She wasn't much better. It wasn't the actors - they did what they could and turned in good performances. But this material was just awful. And it wasn't good awful, you know, like a good car wreck on the freeway, most of this was quite hard to watch.
  • Wait for it,
