  • Probably one of my favorite movies of all time!

I love this film. I love the story. I love the acting. Very few films in our modern world portray what it's like to come from a religious background with anything close to authenticity. And here is a wild, crazy ride that is so honest in its sentiment that it works. Not to mention it's beautifully done. Just take a chance. Watch the film. I cried at least a dozen times. The last scene is worth it all.
  • It's ok.

I wanted to like this movie! But it is somewhat amateurish. Still, I watched the whole movie.
  • Trailer not what movie is

The trailer looked fun. But the movie was very painful to watch, and all the funny parts are in the trailer. Good note, it is a happy ending.

I watched the first film from Rama Burshtein "Fill the Void" and waited until this one was avail to rent. I am so impressed how the director developed without loosing her personality. This film to me is simply perfect and without a doubt a new classic. A wonderful story, every character in the film feels alive and believable and beautiful, the message is there and althouth it is what some men might call 'chick flick' it is a thriller to watch, camera is great, dialogues are realistic and the story is surprising and until the last minutes I was not sure how it would end. I am german and could only read the English - it must be even a greater pleasure to watch in hebrew. I highly recommend it and am sure I will watch again. Five Stars.
  • superb in every way

I have never seen an Israeli film, however the faith that Mihals's character displayed sometimes wacky, funny, quixotic, but incredibly honest made for an unexpected and totally original story. I cannot say enough good things about this movie, and its giant display of heart.
  • The Wedding Plan

Structural flaws? - hooey! Talk about character and heart. What is love - what do people “want” in love, in a partner, what is faith, and what is just crazy? I had an only just a glimmer of what might happen in the end, but the unfolding of it was beautiful. The last 2 minutes of the film are spectacular - a still camera on a woman’s face, listening to her man sing.
  • subtitled with blank screens

the movie needed the fact it was subtitled to be better displayed. it is a cute movie but it did have blank screen scenes which broke the darrative of the movie.
