It's definately choppy storytelling. Some things just get unexplained, some really bad editing and "Oh hey wait, how did that? But your gonna let that go?" scenes are problematic. After about 1:30 min you kinda don't care anymore and hope for some cool effects and fighting.

Really enjoy a little pithy mayhem with great special effects but this was a sloppy, butchered mess masked by great visuals. Liked the previous films though they were getting tougher to stomach with each iteration, but his one is a deal breaker. Story? Not even close. Just a pressured stream of slightly controlled chaos with something like a narrative buried deep inside that was an after thought at best.

  • Aspect ratio nightmare

This movie was so irritating to watch because the director kept changing the aspect ratio. What a shame because visually it was a stunning movie. But who wants to watch a movie when the screen size keeps flopping around. Can I have my money back?
  • Misses the mark

I'm a fan but this is just not what I was looking for. The first movie was so much fun and hit the mark with it's blend of comedy and action. It seems Mr. Bay is trying way to hard to re-capture that humor that worked so well in the 1st movie that he over does the comedy to a point of sillyness (not in a good way). Very predictable...I mean..who would believe "Prime" would stay a bad guy. Worth a rent for die hard fans, pass if you are not.
