  • A gorgeous-looking love letter to cinema.

Hugo is stunning, in every sense of the word. Never have I seen a film that so vividly celebrates the legacy and magic of filmmaking. Nominated for eleven Academy Awards, and winner of five, this is one of the great modern classics of our time. While some viewers may be left underwhelmed by the lack of action and thrills, that is not the point of the movie. Those who truly understand the film's message will surely appreciate and embrace it. If you are a person who has a genuine interest in the history of filmmaking and cinema, I implore you; this is a must-see. Enjoy.
  • So happy with this movie! :)

I watched it last night at home and it was very good. Hugo Cabret was a good boy and he hanged out on a clock from that bad guy. I love Hugo Cabret.

Too Slow. If it had a faster pace I probably would have enjoyed this movie a lot more. I just didn't like it. Way too slow.

This is the most charming movie I've seen in years.Sir Ben Kingsley is, as usual, a treat to watch, and the children aren't obnoxiously precious, but quite talented, & they won me over right away! I highly recommend watching!
