Description

It can be anything. A fanged monster that won't stay on the movie screen. Something ominous lurking in the basement. No matter what your biggest fear is, no one knows It better than Stephen King. Based on the King Of Horror's 1986 bestseller, It is a jittery, jolting excursion into personal fear. A malevolent force in a small New England town takes the shape of a clown, but he's not clowning around. Instead, he terrifies youngsters and brings some to their untimely doom - until some wily kids fight back. The evil resurfaces 30 years later: meaner, angrier, deadlier. And friends who vividly remember youthful terrors reunite to fight It.

This movie doesn’t hold up at all, the remake is much better. Another problem is this isn’t widescreen, it doesn’t bother me but I know some people won’t like that.

I really loved this movie. It has the drama, and suspense witch makes the movie great to watch. Tim curry did a great job as pennywise. Pennywise also was very funny in some parts in the movie .(the library filled with raining balloons that sprayed blood everywhere and pennywise twisting what I think was a pepper shaker and blurting out jokes and laughing really cracked me up) can’t wait to see the 2017 one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of people often regard this as one of the best classic horror movies ever...It's time for people to take off their nostalgia glasses, bad is bad. With the cheap budget and effects, as well as poor scares, you're better off watching the 2017 remake. To put it another way, skip and forget this and watch the much better 2017 verison with Bill Skarsgård instead. Rating: 2/10.

I LOVE THIS! It is and always will be a cult favorite. While today, it is cheesy, that just makes it better. The kids are great, the adults are great, and Tim Curry truly is Pennywise The Dancing Clown.

Kids are funny. They really are. The movie is from 1990. It was a two-part made-for-TV movie. We're talking network TV. Horror films like this were rare on TV, but for Stephen King, the Network's often made exceptions. There were other made-for-TV movies done in parts, written by Stephen King, and I remember looking forward to most of them. I was 9 or 8 with this came out, and it was particularly haunting for me, but I still loved every second.
