A thrilling post-MTV, roller-coaster ride, Run Lola Run is the internationally acclaimed sensation about two star-crossed lovers who have only minutes to change the course of their lives. Time is running out for Lola (Franka Potente). She's just received a frantic phone call from her boyfriend, Manni (Moritz Bleibtreu), who's lost a small fortune belonging to his mobster boss. If Lola doesn't replace the money in twenty minutes, Manni will surely suffer severe consequences. Set to a throbbing techno score, "Lola's like a human stun gun!" Peter Rainer, New York Magazine.

  • Where are the English subtitles?

Good film, but I had the same problem with no English subtitles on my iPad. Fixed it by going to Settings, General, Accessibility, Subtitles and Captioning, and turning OFF the Closed Captions + SDH switch. English subtitles showed up. I post this for the next person who has this problem. No reason not to get the film for subtitle problems.
  • Great Film with English Subtitles

Hang on to your seats for a multilevel ride of a story. I saw this film years ago at The Seattle International Film Festival. It is a twisted film thast like that Japanese film not only tell the story from different viewpoints, but with a different result each time through. It enven takes a lot in Anime. This is a fantastic film WITH English subtitles. Make sure you go into Settings on your Mac or Apple TV. Turn on Subtitles. Enjoy!!! No Extras, but for $4.99, it's a great buy of a fantastic film.

Rented the movie prior to getting on a long flight only to discover mid flight there were no English subtitles although iTunes Store said there was. Bummer.
  • Awesome!

Tom Twyker is an interesting talent. Love him or hate him, this is the height of his directorial skill, in my opinion. It’s an existential action film that packs a surprising emotional punch. Bought this a long time ago. It is not an English language film, though. So, if you’re not into dubs or subtitles, stay away.
