Description

Fry, a young Everyman, finds himself accidentally transported 1,000 years in the future. Just like right now, life in the future is a complex mix of the wonderful and horrible, where things are still laughable no matter how crazy they get. And against a backdrop of pesky aliens, exasperating robots and malfunctioning gadgets, people still struggle with the same daily anxieties of life and love . . . and, of course, traffic is still a nightmare! In the second season, Valentine's Day turns into a nightmare for Fry after his head is surgically attached to Amy's body; the crew discovers the lost city of Atlantis where Fry falls hopelessly in love with mermaid; powerful alien beings threaten to devour all of mankind after the crew inadvertently introduces earthlings to the aliens’ offspring; and Al Gore, Stephen Hawking, and Nichelle Nichols come to the rescue when Fry inadvertently opens a rip in the space-time continuum.

I'm a bit annoyed at the extent of desperation I went to to get this downloaded. Tried every wireless connection I could find and it simply wouldn't download unless I gave each ep 24 hours to download, thank goodness for McDonalds (open 24/7)... I understand this is probably not 'Futurama's fault, but the fault of either all the connections I tried, my iPad, or iTunes. So just warning you that you may be waiting awhile. Aside from this I personally like Futurama, but the episodes don't connect together as well as other series... EG- 24 Prison Break I like how well Futurama mixes 3000(furture) with 2000(now), making the series very witty. Either way I personally think this is a good program to buy all the series that are on iTunes, or at least don't just get one series. Thank you for reading this old complaining git's long drawn out review. Enjoy it, if you get it...

I love 'Futurama' and this season is as good as the first. Futurama may be tied with 'The Simpsons', but it beats off contenders such as 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad!'. It's clever comedy provide hours of laughter!
