I’ve watched these episodes over and over and over and over. I can’t get enough. Absolutely amazing and praying they do a second round. 10/10. I watch an episode every night and always learn something new.

Thanks for presenting information on Cosmos in such a beautiful manner. It's very important for a child and every human being to know where we stand and through this show Neil deGrasse Tyson tells the story. I simply loved it! I have watched the full episode and I am going to watch it again and again with my husband.

Best astronomy tv show for all ages groups to enjoy. I’m twenty years old and I still come back to this. I have learned a lot from this, and it made physics and astronomy so much easier for me to understand.
  • Great content with hidden message

This is a great show in terms of content, but the host tries to convey messages that constantly calls for atheism. I don't know how believing in science necessitates being atheist and not believing in a creator who created this huge universe. In many parts and episodes of the show, the host's justification for some formations is "nobody knows". However, the divine revelation tells clearly the reason. "Allah disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path)" Quran: Chapter1, Verse 26

I came here & bought this on itunes after streaming the whole season on Netflix. Neil deGrasse Tyson is too good. If you're debating whether you should buy this or not, just do it. A beautiful overview of the history of the universe & life on Earth. It's very entertaining and it filled all the holes in my knowledge of the history / recent history of science.

You know what makes Cosmos different from every other science documentary? While history channel and other network's shows focus heavily on the popularizing of science, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey and the original Cosmos: A Personal Voyage simply communicate to us in a deeply intimate and poetic way. I don't think any other science documentary does so much to explain why it's subject matter ought to be important to us. Why it is actually valuable to understand this world that we've all awoken to. The original Cosmos changed my life, and thankfully this sequel featuring the charismatic Neil DeGrasse Tyson as the host and the same great writing from Ann Dryuan and Steven Soeter retains the spirit with its evocative message about the beauty of this Nature and how we human beings are just beginning to understand it. To me, this is one series that I think that every man, woman and child needs to see. The original is still my all time favorite, but I would reccomend this to anyone as it is more in touch with modern media, but still not as seemingly Sci-Fi inspired as most other science shows that are released nowadays.

In Cosmos, Neil calls the sky an instruction manual for living. This is how I view the show itself. Required viewing. Crucial for my children. Thank you so much, Neil. Like Carl before you, you're a tremendous inspiration. Thank you so much.
